Our Nurses and Receptionists
As well as providing assistance to our vets and caring for our in-patients, the veterinary nurse team provides free clinics and advice on pet healthcare and nutrition for your companion animal.
Dorothy is a graduate from Temasek Junior College and has always been passionate about animals. She volunteered at the SPCA on a regular basis and obtained a grooming certificate with the Dog Care Grooming Academy before joining us in 2012 to contribute towards the care and management of your furry friend.
Dorothy enjoys her time at Town Vets and strives to make each visit as comfortable as possible for your four legged friend. She adopted her cat, Kiki, thru a client of the clinic, and they have learnt to adapt to each other. She completed her Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing in 2013, and looks forward to the challenge of undertaking the Certificate IV in the coming future.

Rachael Garston
Veterinary Nurse
Cert II/IV VN
Rachael is from the UK and has been living in Singapore for nearly a decade. She is in her final year towards completing a certificate IV in veterinary nursing. Her love of animals started from a young age and her extended family at home now includes Tia, Buffy, Georgie and Lucky (Labrador, Cocker, Cat and Hamster). After completing her studies she is planning on developing further skills in animal nutrition and enrichment and also keen to expand on animal critical care nursing. Rachael has a lot of compassion for animal welfare and pain management and the quality of life in animals are core to her beliefs.
When Rachael isn't working she enjoys marathon running, swimming, hiking and squash.

Apple Bismonte
Veterinary Nurse
DVM Philippines
The newest member of our team, Apple graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010 from the Central Luzon State University, Philippines. Having worked as a resident vet and branch/clinic manager in the Philippines, she now joins our team in caring for your pet.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring Singapore and the neighbouring countries.
Douglas grew up with dogs, cats and a parrot before deciding to pursue his interest in animal care. This, inspite of graduating from the School of Nursing in Simei ITE in 2011. Having a stint looking after the animals in a pet shop only fuelled this interest. Besides domestic pets, he has a soft spot for wildlife and reptiles. His maltese currently keeps him company and offers a different take on how to view life.
He hopes to further his knowledge on animals and nursing care at Town Vets by undertaking a Cert II in Veterinary Nursing. Being able to be part of the team that promotes the recovery of sick patients, and putting a smile back on an owner's face, makes his job worthwhile.
